Allama Iqbal

Known as the Poet of the East, Allama Muhammad Iqbal was not only a philosopher and visionary but also one of the most illustrious alumni of Government College Lahore. His poetry, thought, and vision continue to inspire generations and remain a symbol of the Ravian spirit worldwide.He earned his Bachelor’s degree in 1897 and completed his Master’s in Philosophy in 1899, graduating with top honors.Iqbal stayed in a room at the college hostel known as The Quadrangle, now renamed Iqbal Hostel.
